You may or may not have of heard of one of last week’s major events, which was the wedding of Gucci Mane and Keiysha Koer. Gucci Mane is a rapper who performed at Bumbershoot this year in Seattle and has just released his latest album, Mr. Davis. Some of his other albums include Droptopwop, Everybody Looking, and the return of East Atlanta Santa. Keiysha Koer is a media influencer who has born in Kingston and recently launched her own cosmetics line.

The two met in 2010 when he convinced her to star in one of his music videos. Ever since this, the two have stuck together. Kaoir even stuck with Gucci while he was in prison and they were excited to get married after he was released.

The one peculiar thing regarding the wedding was that Gucci’s mother and brother were not invited to the event. No reason why has been released, but the two family member’s did not seem too caught off gaurd by this act of exclusion. His brother commented in an interview with BET news source, “ “He didn’t let me go to the wedding, but, I’m happy for him, he went through hell to get to paradise, to where he’s at now. But, me or my mom didn’t go.”

As for the actual wedding itself, it was an event to remember. The couple livestreamed the entire event, and showed up in luxury attire. They had an icy-white theme, and featured all kinds of music ranging from Gucci’s owns songs to some Mariah Carey and Bruno Mars. On top of this, some of the biggest names in the game came to support the two lovebirds. Some of these include, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Diddy, and Rick Ross.

The couple has continued to display their happiness throughout social media and appear to be thriving as a newlywed couple.
