Rain Rain Don’t Go Away
As spring approaches, the season known for rain (as if the PNW doesn’t have enough), it’s important to keep finding ways to get off of your Netflix account and keep busy on those rainy days! Here are some fun things to keep yourself occupied and one with the month of March.
1.Recreate three-ingredient recipes using the seasonal fruits and ripe vegetables of March. This requires little to no cooking skills, but surely a few internet searches. March food includes grapefruit, oranges, spinach, and pears.
2.Actually read that book that was assigned in your English class. They say the perfect combination is tea, a bath, a good book, and a rainy day. Relax your mind by getting caught up on the reading. Your grades will thank you.
3.Take a nap. The sound of rain helps a lot of people sleep, and it could help you too. Catching up on sleep in the middle of the semester never hurts.
4.Enjoy the rain. Take that seasonal fruit or tea, and sit out on your porch or balcony. Listen to the rain and watch it as it falls. Take the time to relax and focus on the weather instead of life!
